Concrete Frames & Slabs Contractor in Cambridgeshire & Norfolk
Ground-bearing and suspended slabs, podium decks and full reinforced concrete frames, taken from formwork through to a finished pour.
What's included
Formwork, reinforcement and pour, as one package
This is where the other trades come together: formwork built and braced, reinforcement fixed and checked, and the pour placed and compacted properly. Because we do the formwork and reinforcement ourselves, one crew delivers the whole frame or slab, not a string of subcontractors who've never worked together.
- Ground-bearing slabs
- Suspended slabs
- Podium decks
- Reinforced concrete frames
- Columns and upstands
- Finished ready for the next trade

Slab types
Ground-bearing, suspended or post-tensioned
Which slab you need comes down to what's underneath it and what it has to carry. We pour all three, working from your engineer's design.
Ground-bearing slabs
Poured straight onto a prepared, compacted sub-base, carrying its load directly into the ground below. The standard slab for warehouses, industrial units and most ground floors.
Suspended slabs
Spanning between beams, columns or walls with nothing solid underneath, so the reinforcement is doing the work a ground-bearing slab hands to the earth. Used for upper floors, podium decks and basements.
Post-tensioned slabs
Steel tendons stressed after the pour to compress the concrete, cutting cracking and letting the slab run thinner and span further. Common on podium decks and larger commercial floors.
Columns & upstands
The vertical elements a frame hangs off, formed and poured to the same tolerances as the slab itself. Built alongside the formwork and reinforcement packages.
